Do you have an idea that can help place the Nordics in the minds of the world? Then you should consider applying for a Nordic Talks grant.

We are looking for projects that are setting new agendas and strengthening the Nordic mindset in the global arena. The Nordics is The Nordic Council of Ministers’ branding project, and we support ideas and collaborations that embrace common Nordic values like trust, innovation, sustainability, openness and equality – this year with a special focus on our new concept, Nordic Talks.

WHAT IS NORDIC TALKS?

‘Nordic Talks’ is a series of talks addressing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through current affairs that capture the essence of Nordic themes and issues. It is a branded talk-concept designed to help you strengthen your Nordic event and spark global conversations that matter.

A Nordic Talk can be held anywhere, anytime. It can be held in connection to existing events like festivals and conferences, and can be hosted locally by Nordic diplomatic missions abroad, NGOs, universities, creative minds and other partners worldwide.

The best talks will be edited into professional podcast episodes by The Nordic Council of Ministers.

WHAT DO WE FUND?

We fund Nordic Talks all over the world. The focus is on projects that address the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) and embrace our shared Nordic values like equality, trust and innovation.

If you have the right project in mind and can see a potential in integrating Nordic Talks as part of your project, we can help fund your project and get your message out to the masses.

You can apply for three different grants: Small, Medium or Large

The total budget for this open call is DKK 3 million.
