Who will win the 2024 Nordic Council prizes?
You can watch the award ceremony for the Nordic Council prizes here on norden.org and on Nordic TV channels on 22 October.
A TV special will introduce viewers to all the nominees and reveal the winners of the prizes for 2024 in literature, music, film, children and young people’s literature and the environment, the theme of which is sustainable construction. The Icelandic public service broadcaster RÚV will produce the programme.
The Icelandic musician and TV host Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson (Retro Stefsson) will host the show and provide viewers with insights into the winners’ lives and work and what is happening in Nordic music, film, literature and architecture.
It will be an exciting evening focusing on Nordic culture you don't want to miss!

The winners will be announced on 22 October. The TV broadcast will be streamed on norden.org, and information will be sent to the media after the announcements.
The winners will receive their prize statuettes at a reception during the Session of the Nordic Council in Iceland, 28–31 October. The media will not be present at the event, but images will be available from our photo archive the same evening.
