The Nordic Region – leading in green growth” was the Nordic prime ministers’ green growth initiative under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers – a vision based on the joint utilisation of Nordic strengths in a number of areas including:- Bioeconomy- Waste treatment- Energy efficiency- Fossil fuel subsidy reform- Investment in innovation and researchWorking together in these areas, the Nordic Region will carry more weight, earn a bigger market share, and make more of a political impact on an international level.
