Circular economy – joint effort in reducing waste
Information
Nordens Hus Reykjavik

What solutions are there to help the public and companies support a circular economy? How can we turn the economy into something sustainable and beneficial for both society and the environment? How can producers and consumers find one another in this cycle that supports a green transition and returns good economic performance?
The green transition has already begun by way of new value chains, skills development, and collaborations between Nordic companies. But the question remains: how can we get better at being circular? How can we accelerate economic gains in line with the green transition?
In collaboration with Green by Iceland (Grænvangur) and Festa (centre for sustainable development), the Nordic House invites you to a debate to discuss the green transition and circular business models.
During this debate, Harpa Júlíusdóttir, project manager at FESTA , will introduce the Nordic Circular Hotspot, while Marthe Haugland, advisor at Nordic Innovation, will present the Nordic Circular Economy Playbook.
Panel:
- Ásta S. Fjeldsted, CEO of Krónan
- Björgvin Sævarsson, CEO of Yorth Group
