This year’s topic for the Nordic Council Environment Prize is digital innovation that supports sustainable lifestyles. Anyone is welcome to submit a nomination. The winner will be announced on 1 November in Copenhagen in conjunction with the Nordic Council Session.

Criteria for nomination

The prize is awarded to a Nordic enterprise, organisation, or individual which has successfully integrated a consideration for the environment into its business or work in an exemplary way, or which in some other way has made an extraordinary positive contribution to the environment. The winning entity must have a Nordic perspective and operate in the Nordic Region and/or in relation to parties outside of the Nordic Region.

This year’s topic and your nomination

The Nordic adjudication committee’s aim with this year’s topic is to raise awareness of both established and new initiatives that promote and inspire sustainable lifestyles using creative digital solutions.

Do you know a Nordic enterprise, organisation, or individual that supports sustainable lifestyles through digital innovation? If so you can nominate your candidate here. Your reasoning must not exceed one A4 page.
