Estonian Opinion Festival: From Science to Business - Nordic Dimension

‘From Science to Business – the Nordic Dimension’ will be focussing on the advantages of, risks inherent in, and opportunities presented by a knowledge-based economy. Madis Kanarbik, the director of the Tartu office of the Nordic Council of Ministers, says that ever-closer partnerships between science and technology are raising a number of questions. “Whether deep tech and persuasion technology are the solutions to seeing off global challenges and promoting social well-being and economic growth is one of them,” he explained. “Another is whether they’ll ensure higher incomes and more free time for all. To discuss all this, we’re bringing together a fantastic group of professionals with a pragmatic world view who’ve been wrestling with these issues for years.”

The event will be hosted at the Estonian Opinion Festival in the 'Nordic Talks' area but can be viewed live on Facebook by everyone. 

The event is in English and starts at 14:00 EEST (Eastern European Summer Time) and 13:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time).
