Recent global crises have exposed the vulnerabilities of modern global food systems, shedding light on specific weaknesses within the Arctic region. It is essential to deepen our understanding of food system vulnerabilities. This session explores the knowledge we have and the knowledge that is needed to bolster Arctic food systems, and asks how Nordic countries, Arctic communities, and Indigenous Peoples can leverage their expertise and resources to innovate and address challenges in a just and inclusive way. Join us for a dialogue featuring key actors from Nordic Cooperation, The World Food Programme, and The Arctic Council. Together, we will explore potential strategies to promote sustainable and resilient food systems in the Arctic.
