Unlike most others, the Bornholm municipality is actively involved in efforts to accept more refugees than it is obliged to under the quota system.
That’s why Bornholm now receives refugees from seven Zealand municipalities and 25 out of 500 refugees who arrive in Denmark this year will come to Bornholm.
