Nordic visionaries who are driving change through the intersection of innovation, technology, and business will gather at the Nordic Innovation Summit on May 10 and May 11.  The annual premier event is where entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers, and academics from the Nordic countries come together to share cutting-edge solutions to our most pressing environmental challenges.

The Summit is organized by the National Nordic Museum and presented by the Washington State Department of Commerce.

Sustainability has long been a priority in the Nordic countries, bolstered with political support and popular interest. The forward-thinking culture has made it a hub for green innovation. From green steel that cuts out 95% of carbon emissions to fertilizer made from upcycled batteries to the future of electric boats and transportation, the 2023 Summit will showcase businesses and projects that demonstrate the vast opportunities for a sustainable future.

Keynotes Include:

  • Ole Jacob Irgens, President Americas, Corvus Energy is a Norwegian marine battery company that is on the forefront of how battery technology is used on ships to reduce emissions.
  • Martine Kildeby, Head of Strategic Partnerships, BLOXHUB, the Nordic hub for sustainable urban development.
