The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Arctic Co-operation

The annual action plans indicate how the Council of Ministers plans to use the annual budget allocated to the Arctic Co-operation Programme. The Action Plan for 2006 covers the activities to be carried out in this financial year. The budget for 2006 is 7.172 million Danish Kroner which is on a par with the funding for 2005. The Nordic Council of Ministers has decided to grant funds to 19 Arctic projects in 2006. Several of these are long-term projects which have previously received grants, while others are new initiatives relating to the goals of the new Arctic co-operation programme. This Action Plan contains an overview of the chosen projects.
